In this paper, a broadband Fabry-Perot cavity leaky wave antenna is proposed. It consists of a parabolic-shape reflector acted as ground plate, metallic grating-shape FSS acted as cover, and an open-ended waveguide as the feeder. Taking use of parabolic-shape reflector the performance of bandwidth for gain can be improved obviously. A prototype antenna operating at 14GHz is designed. Simulation results show that common bandwidth of 8% for gain-drop <;1 dB and S11<;-10dB is obtained.
