In IR: Institutional Research, the quantity of study hours invested besides regular lecture periods has been the center of public attention and considered beyond essential when credit substantialization as well as educational quality assurance. Therefore, students are regularly to specify, on a survey, their extra hours spent on out-of-class activities related to their academic programs. By focusing on out-of-class learning time, this report discusses if the subjective quality is recognized among different measures through the comparisons of several questionnaires, or not. The result of this analysis indicates that different measures: per week, per day, and per subject, deliver an evident diversity in subjective judgment. Thus, another research on the validity evaluating the time for academic purpose and in-class/out-of-class activities was required and conducted whilst this fine analysis of IR.
