This article demonstrates the dual-band MIMO antenna using neutralization line, defected ground structure, and parasitic elements for enhancing the mutual coupling. These structures are formed by inserting different techniques in between the two microstrip patch antennas. When arranging these types of structures are inserted in the middle of two antennas and a fringe-to-fringe spacing is 7 mm (0.06λ_0), exceeding beyond -20 dB mutual coupling is obtained over the entire bandwidth range from 2.4 to 2.8 GHz and 5.8 to 6.6 GHz with S_(11) and S_(12) less than -10 dB. Moreover, the mutual coupling reaches beyond -35 dB over the entire band of 2.4-2.8 GHz and 5.8-6.6 GHz frequencies. By using this type of techniques, it provide better results compared to previous works which produces greater than -30 dB in the entire wider bandwidth. Due to this technique improving the impedance bandwidth as well as radiation characteristics of dual-band antenna.
