Internet Security-A Brief Review

There is a huge increase in the online users and so as the problems faced by them; a typical online user is exposed to virus, worms, bugs, Trojan horses, etc.; in addition, the user is also exposed to sniffers, spooling, and phishing. As a result, the users are constantly prone to cons of privacy due to spy ware which monitors the online users. There is even a possible destruction of the personal machine that dies due to malware. Due to these issues, there is an indication that the Internet is not a safe place for online activities. This problem is not only limited to personal suffers but also extended to several corporations and government sector organizations. Several times the confidential and government information are prone to security risks. These attacks may be due to inherent weakness in the networks. Similarly, the carelessness of users also termed reason. Whatever be the reason, the Internet security study has become the demand of the hour. In this paper, a short study on such Internet security issue is considered.
