摘要

This paper addresses the problem of robust fault detection and isolation in dynamical systems using frequency domain data. Our main result shows that this problem can be reduced to a convex optimization problem that can be efficiently solved. The proposed method is put to test on a non-trivial, practically relevant problem: detecting the presence and estimating the composition of contaminants in lubrication and transformer oil.
