This paper presents the procedure of radiation emission measurements from Pulsed radar as well Pulsed radar basic parameters and other important radar parameters measurements. Measurements were performed on Pulsed X-Band (8-12 GHz) radar configurations for professional marine radar application, such as Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) and Costal Surveillance (CS). Basic radar signal theory, microwave antenna analysis and electromagnetic power flux density and electric field strength calculations are first given and then practical manual measurement and equipment used is described. Calculated and measurement results are presented and discussed. Two types of real pulse radars have been measured, on the three different distances by using Spectrum Analyzer and two antennas, horn and parabolic. Calculated and measure results are presented and discussed. Intention is to measure human exposure to the radar emission in vicinity of radar.
