New energetic materials - explosive composition based on FOX-7 NEXTER Munitions

The state of the art allowed Nexter Munitions to highlight the benefit of the new molecule FOX-7 in explosive composition in order to enhance the low sensitivity. Trials performed by Nexter Munitions, thanks to DGA funding, have confirmed data available in open literature: molecule of FOX-7 improves the low sensitivity. However Nexter Munitions emphasized the too small granular repartition size of FOX-7 is not compliant with an industrial use, as illustrated in the process paragraph fine particle of FOX-7 adheres on the cube mixer wall. Furthermore, the industrial target price of the FOX-7 must be competitive compared to the other available explosives, so far no available information demonstrates this economic objective.
