Towards an Expert System for the Field of Neurology Based on Fuzzy Logic

摘要

Differential diagnoses in the field of neurology are very complex whereas a fast and precise treatment is absolutely necessary for a positive outcome for patients. Support through expert systems has shown to improve practitioners performance in certain areas. In this paper an approach for an expert system for the field of neurology based on fuzzy logic is presented. The client and server side applications, as well as the knowledge base are explained. Furthermore an overview of remaining challenges and issues is given.
