摘要

This paper presents an approach for the user's end-to-end tracking loop to synchronize its clock with the EPS payload clock. The EPS payloads are placed in the Molniya orbits which experience significant Doppler shift. The loop is required to track out the Doppler shift, terminal rate error, and timing error to support high data rates, up to 2.048 Mbps. The performance of the tracking loop is characterized by computer simulation.
