Generation of Shock Wave by Temperature Change at Wall-2

We consider the problem of generating wave from a solid wall whose temperature changes rapidly with time. Because of the general difficulty of boundary-value fitting in applying a gas-dynamics approach to this problem, we utilize the molecular kinetic theory and confirmed the generation of a wave that exhibits characteristics representative of those for a shock wave observed previously.
