This work deals with the development of a SF_6 cylinder under planar reshock and cylindrical converging shock conditions. Qualitative analysis for two cases is performed and comparison between them is made. For two cases studied in this paper, the reversed vortex rings are generated after incident shock passage and another two vortex rings with the opposite rotating direction as the former ones are formed followed by the reshock. The disparity of interface morphologies between them is found. Circulation obtained from simulation shows more vorticity generation for converging shock.
