It is our great pleasure to introduce you to SMTPS12 - The Eighth International Workshop on System Management Techniques, Processes and Services. SMTPS brings together researchers and practitioners to define and discuss the issues and challenges and share early findings in systems management in the emerging cloud computing paradigm. This year, our focus has been on cloud computing, and our program brings together technical papers, keynote and invited talks from industry and academia that address various topics related to cloud computing.
