In this study, the Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) is implemented through a finite-volume approach to perform 2-D, incompressible, and turbulent fluid flow analyses on structured grids. To examine the predictive accuracy of the implemented method, the turbulent separated flow over a hump at high Reynolds number is simulated. The obtained results such as flow separation and reattachment points, surface pressure and skin friction coefficients, velocity and turbulent shear stress profiles are compared against the experimental data and the numerical results from an alternative method.
