摘要

The purpose of this study is to clarify the submerged step heighteffects on the harmonic generation using a vertically two-dimensionalnumerical wave flume. Eighteen experimental conditions were carriedout, including different incident wave heights, periods and two stepheights. The complicated spatial-temporal wave patterns were thenanalyzed by the two dimensional Fast Fourier transform (2DFFT) toseparate incident/reflected waves. A new parameter that combines theconventional Ursell number Ur and the geometry factor ds/h was furtherintroduced to well predict the harmonic generation magnitude.
