摘要

The purpose of this study is to provide a simple guideline to estimatethe damping coefficient for a box-shaped FPSO under various loadingconditions and bilge keel heights through model tests and CFD analysis.A series of free roll decay model tests is carried out under variousconditions in draft, metacentric height, radius of gyration and bilge keelheight. The corresponding CFD simulations are also carried out tocompare with the experimental results.
