Model of Integrated Air Passenger Information System and its Adaptation to Budapest Airport

In the travel chain of air transportation, functions of the passenger information systems are distinct in space and time. Data required for operation are produced by various organizations and stored decentralized. The inadequate information management causes uncertainty for passengers. It could be moderated by the integration of data sources and information services. The analysis technique following organization - function - data group -information terminal approach has been used for determination of information system components. Their relationships have been represented in matrices. The model of the elaborated integrated air passenger information system has been adapted to Budapest Airport. This model is also the basic of the integrated passenger mobile application, which is concerned in our recent research.
