Many peer-to-peer network applications are used by multiple users or peers. All these network applications require similar information about the network. In our proposed system, all peer-to-peer applications share information through a single overlay network. The system provides information about the overlay network to the peers or applications and thus enables each application to access the network information that they need to transfer data. The overlay network is constructed by collecting information from those peers that use peer-to-peer network applications. In this paper, we present a conceptual model of the proposal system. The network manager of our proposal system collects and offers information to the peers or networks. If there are many peers that use multiple peer-to-peer network applications, the number of message packets in the networks can be reduced by omitting the redundant data transfer. This paper also presents the results of simulating an evaluation of the proposal system. From the results, we could conclude that our proposal system would be effective when there is a large number of whole peers and/or peers that use multiple peer-to-peer network applications.
