Research Review of the Impacts of Adverse Weather on Traffic Flow Index

Weather conditions are a great influence on road traffic efficiency. Traffic accidents caused by adverse weather conditions are often more serious than other reasons of traffic problems. The analysis of the impact of adverse weather on traffic flow index helps to solve traffic problems in bad weather conditions. Rainfall, snow and fog are studied in the paper, followed by comprehensive summary about their effect on traffic flow index. The work helps to prevent traffic accident.
