Future Evaluation Worlds for NASA Aeronautics RD Portfolio Analysis

NASA Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) investments in aviation technologies must contend with a highly dynamic and evolving range of future possible worlds. In order to adequately test the robustness of any investment options our team has continued to refine our Future World Generation System (IFWGS). The enhancements identified focus on addressing the ability to deal with social disruptions and associated resource and tipping points; environmental policies and evolution vectors; and demand and supply impacts of autonomous systems on our infrastructure and markets.
