摘要

The uncertainties and intermittent nature of thewind generation poses certain operational challengers for thetransmission grid including traditional energy generation. Thispaper presents a new viewpoint that the steady security riskassessment should consider uncertainties of wind power,correlation between random variables and fault contingencyfrom periodic planning and real time operation. In this paper,probability models describing uncertainties of generation, loadsand short-term wind power are built. Then, probabilistic loadflow using Monte Carlo simulation is employed to calculate the,risk indices that guide operators make optimal operationdecisions. The IEEE three areas RTS-96 test system has beentaken for case study. The case has shown that the method iseffective and efficient.
