With the strong integration of photovoltaic panels in the electricity grid and its complexity, the need to manage and control it in the presence of these renewable entities is essential. For an interoperable, digital and decentralized network, it is necessary to integrate the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) to enable the monitoring and control of these photovoltaic systems and to make them intelligent. This article presents a photovoltaic panels control system, which we realized in our research laboratory at the National Higher School of Electricity and Mechanics ENSEM. This system makes it possible to securely acquire data from current, voltage and temperature sensors and display them on a Human-Machine Interface using the Internet of Things. It also makes it possible to send commands to the circuit breaker responsible for connecting the panel to the network. Once tested for a single photovoltaic panel, we have developed a simulator for an IEEE 33 bus test network where four panels have been integrated in a decentralized way to monitor and control these panels in real time.
