International Legal Regime of International Cooperation on GNSS

摘要

Based on the current industrial development of GNSS, technical cooperation characteristics of GNSS and its nature of dual-use, GNSS international cooperation is not only necessary but also feasible. However, under current international law, there is no legal regime for GNSS international cooperation, as well as there is no formal organizational framework of GNSS international cooperation. Therefore, in order to facilitate the application of GNSS and to achieve sustainable and successful development of GNSS, it is necessary to build a legal regime of GNSS international cooperation, to establish the principle, organizational framework and dispute settlement mechanism of GNSS international cooperation and to build the legal system of GNSS international cooperation focusing on the establishment of standard.
