In order to achieve effective detection and accurate estimation of the harmonics and inter harmonics in the power system, this paper innovatively uses Duffing system. According to the needs of the power system signals detection, this paper proposes the adaptive step length intermittent chaotic oscillator by combining the intermittent chaotic oscillator and the variable-scale method to achieve effective detection for harmonics and inter harmonics. Besides, this paper proposes a signal parameter estimation method based on Duffing system to achieve the accurate estimation of the signal parameters,. Furthermore, to improve the real-time performance and accuracy, adopt Halmition statistics as the Duffing system phase behavior criterion. Finally use the results of the simulation to verify that the effectiveness and accuracy of the new method proposed by this paper.
