摘要

In this study the manipulation of carbon nanotubes was carried out in order to prepare materials suitable for EMI shielding. Aerospace companies as well as the satellite industry have been challenged to find ways of effectively shielding sensitive electronic equipment, such as radar and radios from electromagnetic interference without adding a lot of weight to aircraft and satellites, since the more massive they are, the more fuel they need to stay in the air or achieve orbit, respectively. Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) shielding material is one of the prime requirements of electronic packaging, for the reason that EMI can lead to problem like erased data and loss of connectivity.
