摘要

In this paper a new multi-stage multi-period production planning model is developed for imperfect production over a finite planning horizon. The model determines rework policy on defective items along with production plan. On the other hand, shortages are not allowed to be satisfied in the adjacent periods. Furthermore the model aims at optimizing two main objectives simultaneously: (I) minimizing total cost of production plan, and (II) maximizing customers' service level, while considering a set of technological constraints. Due to model complexity, it is solved with a heuristic solution method and experimental results are interpreted for a set of test parameters in some previous researches. Also the solution method generates a large set of Pareto-optimal solutions each of which as an alternative production plan in the hand of production manager.
