摘要

This paper proposes design and implementation of the distributed solar controller using modular buck converter which can operate in the Maximum Power Point (MPP) of any photovoltaic array. A simple, highly-performance algorithm suitable to be implemented in a low-cost analog controller has been developed In order to make photovoltaic arrays track and operate in their MPP. Parallel connection, multiple-string connection and load splitting connection of these modular buck converters are also proposed, which allows doing enlargements in the installation while keeping the regulators already installed. Experimental- results confirm excellent tracking effectiveness and rapid dynamic response.
