Herein, we analyze the inter-functional relations in the context of Functional Resonance Analysis Method (FRAM). FRAM describes the observed system as a set of functions and can be applied to the reliability analysis of a socio-technical system of an arbitrary complexity. In this context we emphasize the necessity of accurate declarations of inter-functional couplings. These can be performed with the evaluation of contents and medium behind the abstract connections between the observed FRAM functions. We denote these declarations as inter-functional FRAM protocol, which presents one of the necessary steps for the automatization of the FRAM analysis.
