Using Contact Angle and Contact Angle Hysteresis to Control Capillary Forces

This poster presentation will be concerned with two topics: (1) the preparation of liquid marbles using hydrophobic (perfluorinated) particles and their behavior while floating on the surface of water, (2) chemically modified surfaces that are suspended at liquid-vapor interfaces and the forces between them as a function of distance.
