摘要

These days the use of UAV considering economic feasibility and flight safety in observing inaccessible area where general aircraft has difficulty in mission capability and mountainous area like canyon is increasing. Telemetry system of UAV system transmits UAV's data such as velocity, altitude, coordinate from UAV's to GCS. It connects UAV's and GCS RF in radio by using Modem and plays an important role in transmitting/receiving flight information like 3D position of UAV's and attitude or remote control. In current UAV system, the communication using RF Modem has about 1~2km communication range with frequent miscommunication so it is not appropriate in long time communication. In the case of Korea, signal strength is limited in 1 OmW so developing radio Module that are appropriate in long distance communication is needed. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to design and develop UAV Telemetry module system that can transmit or receive data by using 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, WiFi wireless network in Smart device. UAV Telemetry module system consists of smart device, Arduino Mega ADK board, Telemetry module software, communication control server and uses JAVA, C, C# language to develop. It is expected that UAV remote control would be available in invisible area.
