This paper describes the measurement method of parasitic displacements arising from the misalignment of suspended coil. This method is based on the optical paths of interferometer system in joule balance. Except for optical elements for interference measurement, no extra elements are needed for parasitic displacements measurement in vacuum. All the parasitic displacements are calculated from the interference optical signals. This method can simplify the structure of suspended coil in joule balance, and also measures the parasitic displacements of suspended coil in reality.
