This study was based on a long-term field trials of three differentvegetable cropping treatments (organic, low-input and conventional) in greenhouseinitiated in 2002. We compared soil properties through the ten-years on-site fieldtrials of vegetable crops under three different compost treatments: 1) organic: cowdung composts (about 934 N·kg·hm~(-2),424 P_2O_5·kg·hm~(-2), 1378 K_2O·kg·hm~(-2)); 2)low-input: cow dung composts (about 486 N·kg·hm~(-2), 219 P_2O_5·kg·hm~(-2), 710K_2O·kg·hm~(-2)), chemical fertilizer (about 271 N·kg·hm~(-2), 97 P_2O_5·kg·hm~(-2), 233K_2O·kg·hm~(-2)); 3) conventional: cow dung composts (about 297 N·kg·hm~(-2), 134P_2O_5·kg·hm~(-2), 456 K_2O·kg·hm~(-2)), chemical fertilizer (about 539 N·kg·hm~(-2), 172P_2O_5·kg·hm~(-2), 456 K_2O·kg·hm~(-2)). It was found that: (1) Compared with data in 2002,total N and P, available P and K, organic matter in 0~(-2)0 cm and 20-40 cm soil layer in2012 were all enhanced and organic treatment showed the highest increase. (2) Datain 2012 showed that total N and P, available N, P and K, organic matter, water contentin the two soil layers in organic treatment were obviously higher than the other twotreatments, and soil bulk density in organic treatment was the lowest.
