In the present studies advanced geopolymeric cementiatious material ofdifferent compositions have been developed utilizing flyash, rice husk and alkaliactivators. Engineering properties of the developed materials have been determinedand characterization has been done by XRD, ~(29)Si NMR and FE-SEM techniques.Compressive and flexural strength of optimized composition of the developed materialwere found in the range of 25-35 MPa and 3-4 MPa respectively. Density varies from1200 -2500 Kg/m~3. Water absorption is found to be 5-8 %. Presence of hybrid organicinorganicphases were observed in X-Ray diffraction pattern of advanced geopolymerbased cementitious materials. FESEM micrographs indicated presence of nano sizedparticles. The optimized composition of developed material was utilized for makingpanels of 1eet × 1 feet and 2 feet × 2 feet size manually as well as by mechanization.The developed panels were machineable as well as mouldable.
