摘要

Fast response of doubly fed induction generators is very important for grid synchronization where they are used for electrical energy generation in wind units with variable speed turbine. Predictive rotor control method is proposed in this paper. The cost function based predictive control is used to control the torque and flux of the rotor. A novel torque ripple reduction method is proposed. Therefore, the mechanical tension of the turbine will be reduced. Rotor winding is supplied with a back to back converter in order to achieve the best performance of the predictive control. The validity of the proposed method is examined by means of simulations. The results prove the fast dynamic performance of the proposed control system.
