摘要

The main objective of introducing artificial intelligent control approaches is achieving efficient industrial process control. However, the three term (PID) control algorithms are still employed in controlling a wide range of processes. This mainly is owing to their simplicity and robustness. The Performance indices tuning methods (MSE, ITAE, ISE and IAE) of PID based Genetic Algorithms (GAs) are actually proposed for optimizing the setting of PID controller gain values. In this work, example simulation result using stirred-tank heater (jacket model) process is carried out to compare and demonstrate the effectiveness of these performance indices in the closed loop responses in both time domain and frequency domain.
