摘要

According to the shape and electrical parameters of common karst and fractured zone, this paper established a number of karst cave model with different filler and fractured zone model with different degree of crushing. Numerical simulations of radar wave propagation in different models have been conducted, using the finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulation method with the perfectly matched layer (PML) absorbing boundary conditions for these attenuation models. The characteristics on simulated GPR profile of different models have been summarized. The numerical simulation results will be a good guide to GPR data processing and interpretation. Finally, a project example was introduced to further prove the reliability of simulation results.
