A comparative study of mission planning systems: from Earth Observation to Interplanetary Missions

We present an overview of the state of the art of satellite planning systems specifically in their acquisition of products. We focus on the differences between private sector business and space agencies activities, targeting the common positive aspects and concluding with an analysis of the possible synergies that could help both fields.
