Evaluation Strategy for the Service Life of Chinese Metro Signal Equipment

This paper briefly introduces the current status of domestic metro and signal systems, putting forward urgency of research on the service life of signal equipment. The paper defines the concept of service life and its four types: physical life, economic life, technical life, and depreciation life. In terms of metro signal equipment, the paper works out four evaluation strategies for service life and provides a brief summary.
