A Study Regarding Spatial Formation and Transformation of Xi'an Old Castle

This paper discusses Spatial Formation and Transformation of Xi'an Old Castle.About spatial transformation of Xi'an old castle after Chang'an castle of the Sui Tang, Shi (1998) described in details "The Historical Atlas of Xi'an".Above all, "Xi'an provincial castle (Guan xu-19 of 1893)" is described in detail municipal facilities, religion facilities, block"bo", street name and so on.In addition, "eight flags castles of Manzhou" of Xian provincial castle were established based on the planning of "eight flags" system of the whole land including Beijing in Qing dynasty.This paper, clarifies the historical summary of Xi'an old castle after the Sui-Tang, municipal facilities and street transformation, spatial planning and transformation "eight flags castles of Manzhou" in Xian provincial castle.
