The fundamental component of the moment-rotation behaviour of the steel beam-splice connection is the load-deformation behaviour of the bolted double-splice friction joints with high-strength bolts.Elevated-temperature tensile tests of bolted double-splice friction joints were performed to investigate the influence of the plate thickness, end distance, fastening, and temperature on their load-deformation behaviour.This paper discusses the load-deformation behaviour, ductility and modelling of bolted double-splice friction joints at elevated temperatures.
