Methods Choose 61 cases of fulminant hepatitis patients with depression, With reference to the American psychiatric association Mental disorders diagnostic and statistical manual (DSM-Ⅳ) Classification standard, 31 cases patients were randomly divided into treatment group, which was given intravenous drip of 10 % glucose injection 250 ml containing Hepatocyte growth-promoting factors 120 rag, once daily, 15 days for a course of treatment and 30 in the control group, Application of above methods at the same time to add with the Gongying Yinchen soup, etc. (Dandelion, radix et rhizoma rhei, radix bupleuri, herba artemisiae capillaris, glabrous greenbrier rhizome, radix isatidis, grifola, bitter ginseng). After the treatment for three courses, the peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets (by FACSCalibur flow cytometry) and liver function were detected. Results After the treatments the level of CD3~+ CD4~+ CD4~+/CD8~+ increased in two groups with more marked elevation in control group (P ＜ 0.01); The level of CD8~+ counts decreased. Compared with the treatment group, the change of control group was more significant (P ＜ 0.05); The level of ALT AST and GGT in two groups decreased, But the control group decreased obviously (P ＜ 0.05, P ＜ 0.01). Conclusions Hepatocyte growth-promoting factors combined with Gongying Yinchen soup in patients with fulminant hepatitis depression can affect the peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets, can enhance the body's immune response ability.
