GPS single point positioning is a technology characterized with fast,cost saving and simple operation.With the enrichment and development of IGS,precise ephemeris,clock errors and carrier phase observations and more rigorous mathematical models can be got to carry out precise point positioning.Therefore,it is significant to study the algorithm of GPS single point positioning,whose prospect will be increasingly broad.Based on the basic theories and models of GPS single point positioning,this paper considers pseudo-range as observation and accomplishes corresponding modules on Visual Studio 2010 platform with C++ programming language.Moreover,the main interface of the program is designed,too.Then,Beijing station is taken as an example to verify the correctness of the program.Compared with the known ITRF coordinates,the horizontal accuracy is about 10 m and the elevation accuracy is about 8m,so the three-dimensional accuracy of single point positioning is about 13 m.The result shows that the coordinates calculated by this program can meet the requirement of the lower-precision navigation and positioning,such as marine and vehicle.
