In this paper, a physical scheme for remotely preparing a diatomic entangled state via a two-atom entangled state and a triatomical entangled W state is presented by applying the cavity quantum electrodynamics technique. The original state can be transmitted to either one of the receivers by introducing a auxiliary cavity. Two different kinds of atom-cavity interactions are utilized at the sender's and the receiver's site, respectively. The total success probability for each receiver is obtained, which will be equal in certain condition.
