This paper experiments and models the dynamic behaviors for Manganese-type Li-Ion battery during charging and discharging operations under several environments of temperatures and terminal currents. In this study, the variation of internal effective series resistance and effective capacity degradation to the environmental condition are experimentally evaluated and physically explained. The parameter identification method for the battery transient response model with the experimented transient response is proposed. The identified parameters are applied with the model in a Spice simulation. The voltage responses in the simulation and experiment for different amplitudes and periods of pulse currents are compared and acceptable results are verified.
