摘要

The main navigation bridge for Jiashao Bridge is a steel box girder, six-single-pylon,four-plane cable stayed bridge with span arrangement of 70+200+5×428+200+70=2680m. It is thelargest multi-pylon cable stayed bridge worldwide currently with steel box girder width of 55.6m, totalbridge length of 2680m, the longest longitudinal slope for bridge deck of 0.45%, and total steelconsumption of 77,000 ton. The main characteristics for separated carriage box girder structure are: thewidth of one carriage is more wider which reaches 24m; the distance between left and right carriages isbigger which reaches 9.8m; the four cable planes make left and right carriages have a relativelyindependent loads carrying state; rigid hinges are used in span middle of the whole bridge. This paperintroduces the design and construction for steel box girder of Jiashao Bridge, including the erection ofgirder segments in no cable area, cantilevered assembling erection of four-plane steel box girder, and theclosure plan for steel box girder of multi-pylon cable stayed bridge.
