DIPLOMATIC IMPACT OF HUMAN SPACE EXPLORATION-SOME JAPANESE EXPERIENCES-

摘要

It is always hard to proof the linkage of diplomacy and space activities. We always have the sense of relationship between them but describe them based on evidences must be historical works. However, in this paper the recent example how diplomacy affects human space activities. Unfortunately, there was no example to show that human space activities affect diplomacy, but it was just because the problem of human space activities was closed to the space community at that time. Once it becomes to the problem of the diplomatic concern (and it seems to be appeared in the ISEF), it becomes to affect diplomacy of course. Space community is tends to look only at the inside of their community and loose sight of the whole goal to be achieved. Diplomacy sounds a very different area from space activities. Many diplomats think so. However in fact, looking into the history and the reality, they are inseparable.
