Redefining Geobrowsing

摘要

This paper presents a conceptual model for geobrowsing oftext collections. The model integrates elements andprinciples from the existing models and adds a uniqueperspective on the design of representations andinteractions with geographic, semantic, and cognitivespaces in geospatial visualizations. It is illustrated withexamples from GeoPubMed prototype which is designed tosupport creative geobrowsing.
