Text Mining as a Method of Analyzing Health Questions in Social QA

This poster introduces a work-in progress project focusingon text mining of health-related questions that people postin social Q&A which they obtain and share information,advice, and experiences. 69,363 of health questions aboutSexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) posted from 2009 to2012 were randomly collected from Yahoo! Answers andused for text mining and analysis in this study. Apreliminary finding of the data analysis is described in thisposter. The use of text mining as a method of analyzingSTD questions is discussed, as well.
