This paper presents a current source de-re-coupling sinusoidal pulse width phase modulation (SPWPM) strategy for the control of high-frequency link inverter, the main transformer transmits the high-frequency bi-polarity tri-state current wave whose area changes according to sinusoidal, which provides the zero-current switching (ZCS) condition for the matrix converter switches. The drive signal of the matrix converter is the intermittent high-frequency modulation, which reduces the number of switching times and reduces the switching loss. At the same time, the working principle of the method is introduced and simulation is obtained by MATLAB/Simulink, and the simulation results verify the feasibility of the proposed method. So it's a new modulation method for further improving the efficiency of high-frequency inverter.
