180 Gb/s all-optical packet switching employing in-band wavelength labelling and a hybrid-integrated optical flip-flop

摘要

Error-free all-optical packet switching is demonstrated at 160 Gb/s. The system employs a highly scalable in-band optical labelling, filter-based label extraction, a hybrid-integrated optical flip-flop, and a single SOA-based wavelength converter.
