Testing Different Oil Shales in the Enefit Pilot Plant

1. Enefit Pilot Plant commissioned with Estonian oil shale within two campaigns in May and June 2013 2. Several modifications realized to overcome operational problems 3. Utah oil shale pilot plant test campaign realized in September 2013 and stable operation achieved 4. First characterization and evaluation of solid streams carried out 5. On pilot scale: Size distribution of solid streams well suited for Enefit heat carrier technology using retort and fluidized bed process 6. Fit simulation models to new pilot plant results 7. Use simulation models for design and optimization of industrial plant.
